Caruso and Goldie are strolling around the compound. Of the hens, two wyandottes, one lavender and one gold orpington are still here. Goldie, the golden, has been with us for a few years already. She's remarkable. Even though she doesn't lay eggs any more, she's a sweetie and provides plenty of fertilizer and is a professional scratcher.
